MYTHOLOGICAL PRODUCT INTERCONNECTION | FORMAS DISIDENTES

In the workshop of  Formas Disidentes, realized by "Las oblicuas" , we explored the (a) normality in design through the hacking of commonly used objects that were adapted to mythological characters with dissident identities.

As participants of this event, my team and me realized a Triton's chair where he could refresh his fish tail. Using just plastic materials which allowed an association with this aquatic character. In fact, during the exposition we connect the handle of the shower with a hose to provide water and and re-create a performatic atmosphere. Therefore — if you scrolled — there were more costumizations and the creators who made it.
(Triton) Government of the depths of the sea. Chair of Seyer, Jorge Cusi, and Marta Rincón.
(Arpia) Winged beings who continually steal food. Silla de Valeria Castillo and Sálvia Conde.
(Cyclops) One-eyed giants in the middle of the forehead. Silla de Alma Mariscal and Nuria Pérez
(Panopeus) Very timid beings with very long ears to fly, fed on wild flowers.
Chair of Judit Gisbert and Alex Latorre.
(Reapers)  Three sisters who spun and controlled the thread of life beings. Chair by Lia Alsina, Anna Calvo and Carlos Paniselló.
(Sciapodo). One-legged creatures that used to stretch out and protect themselves from the sun with their giant foot. Chair by Ruth Dávalos and Cristina Martínez.
(Medusa) Being with half a spider's body. Idea of Alba Agüera and Lara Figuerasa.
(Aracne) Bright because of the snakes on her head. If you stared at her, you would turn to stone. Realize by the Oblicuas team.
